BOOKINGS: Bookings can be made through the website, telephone or email. Once the holding deposit has been received a booking confirmation will be sent out, this contains all relevant information regarding the booking. Please note, your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Between May - September is wedding season and can be very busy. For large bookings another Hair & Makeup Stylist/assistance can be arranged. The amount agreed at the time of booking confirmation is final. If booking numbers are TBC you must book the minimum as per your stylist, numbers can then be increased later but depending on timings and your stylists availability. There is a surcharge for bookings taken on a bank holiday. Any changes to the booking please let us know as soon as possible in writing. For non bridal hair and makeup the same rate applies for our bridal hair and makeup for the initial person. Confirmed numbers may be increased at the stylists discretion and pending timings. Any booking made within a 6 week period of the wedding date full payment is required 24hrs after confirmation has been sent out. Please be aware any delay with payment may result in a cancellation. Travel is charged at .50p per mile. Congestion charge and parking may be chargeable if applicable.

There is a £50 admin charge which is taken from your deposit. Payment can be made by BACS transfer or for international payments Wise. Final payment is due 6 weeks before the wedding day. TRIAL: A trial is advised as it is a good opportunity to meet with your stylist and also to try out the hair and makeup looks for your wedding day. It usually takes between 3-4 hours. For your trial we advise having dry hair and minimal makeup. You can wash your hair the morning of the trial or wedding day but best to wash it the night before. The trial payment is due on the trial date or it can be paid by BACS beforehand. If you require a second trial the same rate applies. There is a surcharge of £50 for trial bookings on a Sunday. Travel is charged at .50p per mile. Congestion charge and parking may be chargeable if applicable.
HOLLYWOOD WAVES: I'm adding this in here as often brides request this look not knowing exactly what is involved. Hollywood Waves is a glam vintage look which you often see on the red carpet. It generally begins around ear level, flowing down on one side in a uniform 'S shape curl'. To achieve the hair style with the best results 'remi clip in hair extensions' are required starting price £150 This acts as scaffolding for the look and helps maintain the shape throughout the day. For best results you need long hair. Please note this look takes approx. 3HRS from start to finish.
CANCELLATIONS: If you change your mind your deposit is partly refundable up to 6 weeks prior to your date or 6 week after your trial whichever comes first. Once the balance is paid 6 weeks prior to the wedding, we are unable to offer cancellations or refunds if you choose to cancel/postpone for any reason, including but not limited to, restrictions placed on the wedding by the Gov. unless the Gov. ban ceremonies from taking place in their entirety or from your stylist working. Changes or cancellations to the booking must be made in writing as soon as possible via info@bridalmuses.com. If you wish to reschedule your date there is no initial amendment charge however further amendments will incur a cost. In the highly unlikely event your stylist is unable to attend due to an illness or emergency, an alternative stylist will be found or a full refund will be made.
CORONAVIRUS POSTPONEMENTS & CANCELLATIONS: Any amendments made to the booking must be made within a 15 month calendar from the original date. There are no amendment charges for making a new booking with us however further amendments will incur a charge. Please let us know in writing if you wish to amend your booking. TIMINGS: Approximate timings are as follows - bridal hair & makeup 2.5-3hrs, bridesmaid hair & makeup 1.5hrs, MOB/MOG hair & makeup 1.15hrs, makeup only 45-1hr, hair only 1hr. A trial is approx 3-4hrs after this time another trial is advised.
ALLERGIES, SENSITIVITIES: Please let us know if you have any allergies or sensitivities. It is the clients responsibility to inform us of any allergy, sensitivity or medical condition. Please bear in mind Bridal Muses Limited cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known ailments or conditions that may affect the use of any of the products or equipment used.
DESTINATION WEDDINGS: If planning a wedding abroad we can travel to the destination. It is the same charges as getting married in the UK except flights, accommodation, airport transfers + meals need to be covered. We also ask for a travel day to be included in the total charges as in many cases the stylist will travel the day before the wedding and spend most of the day travelling so we ask this to be included. It is the clients responsibility to arrange travel and accommodation for the artist.
SMOKING: Smoking/Vaping while an artist is working is not permitted.
